Programme objectives

• To enable young people to access high quality and effective life skills education through a variety of school and community-based structures
  
  
• To support professionals to establish creative methods of working with young people to develop life skills
  
  
• To influence the design and delivery of life skills education by government departments, local authorities, schools and other young people services.
  
  
• To involve young people in the development and running of Life Routes in the UK and ensure effectiveness through monitoring and evaluation and continually building on achievements.
